Pre-purchase electronic car check in Baku

When you buy a used car, the biggest risks are a wound-back odometer and hidden electronic faults. We read every control unit with a scan tool, compare the mileage recorded in different units, and look at fault codes and crash records. This is an electronic check: bodywork, paint and mechanical parts are not included.

What's included

  • Mileage compared across the engine, gearbox, ABS, airbag and instrument cluster records
  • Active and stored fault codes in every unit
  • Crash records in the airbag unit
  • Battery and charging system check
  • A written summary: what we found and notes for the purchase

When to come in

  • You're about to buy a used car
  • The seller's mileage looks suspicious
  • Warning lights flash or stay on in the instrument cluster
  • The car was imported and its history is unknown

Frequently asked questions

How much does a mileage check cost?

From 40 AZN. The price depends on the make and the number of control units. Agree it with the seller beforehand so they allow the check.

Can a wound-back odometer always be detected?

Not always. On many cars the figure is stored in several units and a mismatch gives it away, but it can be changed in all of them. Our summary says plainly: mismatch found / none found / could not be verified.

Is a mechanical inspection included?

No. We check the electronics: control units, faults, mileage, airbag, battery. For the mechanical condition of the engine, suspension and body you'll need a separate mechanic.
